Quality grows on the vineyard. The secret of high quality wines is not really a secret. It is the result of manifold endeavours to enhance the quality of the grapes. We have a conscious decision to use a finely tuned mix of traditional and modern working methods.
In winemaking, manual skills are often more important than technical innovations. In practice, this means meticulous foliage treatment and a rigorous reduction of the harvest. For us, vintage means sorting carefully in several passes, mainly by hand. In this way, we harvest exactly those fully ripened, healthy grapes which make up the quality of our wines.
